Description:
Gradually, XML is worming its way into your life. Maybe you’re a web developer or writer who’s been asked to deliver XML-formatted content. Maybe you’re a programmer who needs to write software that uses or generates XML-based data. Maybe you’ve been wondering about all those little orange “XML” buttons springing up on web sites these days. Maybe your company has upgraded to Office 2003, and rumor has it you’ll be using its XML features. Wouldn’t it be nice if someone could explain all this XML stuff to you gently, without the rocket science?
In this course, you will learn answers to these questions: Why does XML exist? What is it? How does it relate to HTML? What’s it good for? What isn’t it good for? How does it work? Then, you can finally start using XML.
