How many computers are there per student during class?
Each room has a minimum of one computer for each student. However, RealSolutions
will often increase that ratio depending on the learning experience needed. Many
classes, for example, may have as many as two to four computers for each student

Are your instructors fluent in the technologies in
which they teach?
RealSolutions' instructors have passed many rigorous vendor certification programs.
Most of our instructors also serve as consultants in the industry to augment their
knowledge.
Are you preparing students for certification exams?
Our primary objective is to deliver quality training and focus on solid skills transfer.
Whenever possible, we will choose a curriculum with exam preparation sections. We
recognize that certification is an important part of the process and use practical
knowledge transfer as a road to certification.

Don't I need to attend an "official" class to get certified?
It really depends on the vendor, but in the vast majority of cases the answer is
"NO." For example, Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, and many others don't care how you
obtain the knowledge to be a certified professional as long as you can prove your
expertise on the exams. The training companies that teach the "official" classes
want you to believe that you need to attend their classes in order to get certified
and in some cases will intentionally provide false information to make the sale.
The next time you are talking with your training provider ask them if their "official"
classes are required in order for you to get certified, then ask them to put it
in writing. Many times they will be willing to tell you one thing but unwilling
to put anything down on paper as proof of their statements.

Are your books as good as the "official" curriculum?
Our books are actually better in most cases. Most "official" books require complex
lab setups that are only contained in the instructor's manual. When the students
leave the "official" class they can review their notes but can't reproduce the labs
done in class without the instructor's manual. At RealSolutions, the curriculum
for each course is chosen so that the labs can be done inside AND outside the classroom.
Students can reproduce the labs at their leisure to support the learning experience
long after the class is over.
Here is what one of our students had to say about our courseware:
SQL Bootcamp
"I feel the material provided by RealSolutions for class room training and take home
are definitely superior than the material by Microsoft training classes. When you
compare the Microsoft material to the books RealSolutions provides, you'll see the
material provided by Microsoft is very limited with pictures making up a lot of
the content. The material RealSolutions provided me for the SQL Bootcamp class were
two large, detailed textbooks that are used to prepare for the Microsoft DB Certification
programs. These textbooks contain far much valuable reading and will be a greater
asset for me when I'm back at work using what I learned at RealSolutions."

What should I bring to class?
We provide all you'll need, including RealSolutions notepads and pens. However,
you should feel free to bring whatever additional materials you deem necessary to
promote learning. We realize that learning is a uniquely individual experience and
we want you to feel at ease during your courses.

Why are your prices far less than your competition?
We charge the rates we do because our company made a conscious decision to find
ways of reducing the economic burden of classes on our customers. Through efficient
operations and careful project management, RealSolutions Training is able to deliver
excellent training at rates that are 40-70% less than others! For example, one way
RealSolutions controls expenses is by choosing not to participate in "official"
training center programs that require huge annual fees. Our instructors maintain
the certification levels required to meet or exceed those programs, but the expense
involved would require us to greatly increase the cost per course. Another expense
saving technique involves the use of carefully selected, "off the shelf" materials
that are geared toward both knowledge transfer and certification preparation. In
fact, our Java, UML, XML, Websphere, Cisco and select other technology courses are
taught with custom courseware developed by our consultants/ instructors. These are
just a few of the ways that RealSolutions maintains excellence and is still able
to deliver a quality product at a great price.
